Cross Fox Condominiums has contracted with FMB Laundry for the community’s laundry equipment. Still allowing payment via Credit Card, these machines introduce the ability to pay using your Mobile Phone using the app “Clothesline Mobile” (available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store for Android).

Using the “Clothesline Mobile” phone app, residents will be able to:

• Receive Alerts When Laundry is Complete
• View Machine Availability and Remaining Cycle Time
• Check SmartCard/Account Balance
• Start Laundry Machines via Bluetooth
• Ability to Request Refunds from the app

Payment System –

1. Your machines are designed to accept payment via direct credit card purchase at the washer/dryer or Phone app (Clothesline Mobile) which is available for free download from the Apple App Store or the Android App Site.
2. After installing the Clothesline Mobile app, please make sure the Bluetooth feature is enabled/active in both your “Bluetooth Settings” and in the “Clothesline Mobile App Settings”. You need Bluetooth activated in order to communicate with our washers and
   dryers.
3. If you wish to receive “notifications” when your active cycles are done, please activate “Notifications” within the “Clothesline Mobile App Settings”.
4. To check the status of the laundry room, just select the “room status” option within the app.

Washer ($1.50) –

1. Load clothes loosely in cylinder, close door. In top load washers, load dry clothes no higher than the top of the agitator.
2. Put soap, softener and bleach directly into the cylinder (top load washers). Follow soap instructions. Use of liquid HE (High Efficiency) soap. If using pre-packaged soap (pods), insert a single pod into the cylinder with your clothes.
3. Do not oversoap (see soaping instructions on following page)
4. Select desired wash cycle and water temperature option(s)
5. Use Credit Card of Clothesline Mobile phone app to make payment.
6. Press start.
7. (Note: Leave washer lid open after cycle completes in order to allow air flow and reduce
   moisture and odor buildup)

Dryer ($1.50 for 45 minutes)–

1. Load clothes in cylinder, close door. (make sure the lint screen is clean)
2. Select desired heat cycle
3. Use Credit Card or Clothesline Mobile Phone App to make payment.
4. Press Start
5. (Note: You can purchase an additional 4 minutes of time for $.25 during an active cycle by using your card or by using the Phone App.)

Optional Wash Cycles
(Top Load Washers only)

Light Soil: This represents a “normal” cycle which includes 1 wash and 1 “Spin and Spray” rinse cycle.

Medium Soil: This selection is same as Light soil except it adds 2 extra minutes to the wash portion of the cycle as compared to the Light Soil option.

Heavy Soil: In addition to the 2 extra minutes of wash, this selection provides a “Fill and Soak” rinse instead of the “Spin and Spray” rinse. This cycle is required if you use Fabric Softener.

Soap/Detergent

1. Powdered soap: Use in moderation. Powdered soap produces a lot of soap suds. As such, this style of soap is more difficult to remove from your clothing without the use of fabric softener.
2. PODS: If using PODS, please place them in the drum with the laundry.
3. Liquid soap: Use no more than 1/4 cup of liquid soap in the top load washers. (= 1/2 of bottle cap)
